One of the most spectacular roads in the world meanders through a fascinating mountainous landscape. Currently, this road is practically out of use, so passengers can stop to take pictures where they want. In Coroico (1,600 masl), a beautiful hotel awaits us and an interesting excursion to an ecological coffee farm, where you will not only learn everything about growing tall coffee, but of course, you will also taste it in the middle of a wonderful landscape .

Day 1

Travel from La Paz to the Summit and the Yungas of La Paz along the most spectacular road in South America; Arrived in Coroico, visit of a coffee farm
We left La Paz in the morning, taking a route to the north. One of the most amazing roads in South America takes us to the tropical yungas of La Paz. However, first we must overcome the Summit - 4,700 m.s. From here, you will enjoy countless extraordinary panoramic views. We leave the main asphalted road to take a route that meanders along the hillsides. The vegetation becomes more and more exuberant: orchids, bromeliads and all kinds of exotic plants appear on the path, and we will even pass through a waterfall. Pure nature! To touch it, simply extend the arm of the car. Soon, we reached the lowest point at 1,300 m.s. - that is to say, it has just dropped from almost 3,500 m.s. in less than 2 hours of travel! We will arrive at the Finca Villa Shanti just for lunch, to later learn about the coffee farm and learn all about the production of high quality organic coffee - from the seedling, through the harvest, drying, peeling , the torrado. In the end, you will test the result of all this meticulous process. We will rest at the Gloria Hotel, in an idyllic setting and enjoying the beautiful pool. Night at Hotel Gloria, Coroico (- / A / -).

Day 1

Day 2

Walk through coca plantations and return to La Paz
A pleasant and idyllic walk awaits you on the slopes of a hill. After a short climb, we skirt the slopes of the hill at the same height, crossing small forests and passing through agricultural fields interspersed with coca plantations - the sacred leaf of the Incas and the object of various stories and legends. But nowadays, the coca leaf is a hot topic - your guide will tell you everything about it. Descending towards the valley, we will arrive at a small rural community, where our driver awaits us and will take us back to Coroico. Later, we start the trip back to La Paz, this time on the new paved road. Night in downtown hotel in La Paz (B / - / -). - END OF OUR SERVICOS.
